Tank Houses of Fremont, California
40390 Fremont Blvd.

This lovely small tank house is located on one of Fremont's main streets, just off of Copland Lane. It is centered in a cluster of small buildings, some of which were probably farm outbuildings at one time. Notice the small garage to the left (south) side. Small garages of this type were often originally used as stables.

This garage to the east has the same type of narrow clapboard as the tank house, which indicates it might have been built near the same time.
	Another view, from the west. There are several almond trees in the dwelling yards which were possibly part of an earlier orchard.
